I am currently a doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Ecology at Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), and Agrarian Sciences at the University of Caldas (Colombia). Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Caldas (Manizales-Colombia) (2011). During my undergraduate studies, I worked with insect taxonomy, systematizing entomological collections of the Biology program from the University of Caldas (CEBUC). I did my specialization in Social Management at Superior School of Public Administration (ESAP) (2013), with an emphasis on socioenvironmental development research. I did my master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Caldas (2017), where I worked with biological traits of Chironomus columbiensis (Díptera: chironomidae) as bioindicators of water quality. During my professional career, I developed works in monitoring water quality with an emphasis on aquatic macroinvertebrates and physical-chemical water analysis. I am currently involved in research focused on both acute and chronic ecotoxicological effects.
